"I had my reconstructive surgery. I am now 3 months out. This doctor was nice enough. His office staff was Horrible!!! I pretty much had to do all the work with Aetna myself. For some reason their papers and pictures never made it to Aetna. But I fax them in myself and they got there right away. After 3 months I am just now getting back to somewhat normal. My belly button is 2 inches over from where it is supposed to be. My scares are so thick!!! At 6 weeks, my husband was still having to lift me in and out of bed. My experience was not good. I still have a BAD constant pain under my right rib. No one seems to know what it is. Or even cares. I stayed with this doctor because he was recomended by BTC. After my experience. I can not say that I would do this again. "

"I went back for my 6 week checkup. It was a great check up. I keep expecting the scales to go the ohter way, but they don't. I told Dr. Vig. I expect you guys to yell about me weight. He said we don't yell here. And just smilled at me. This is a whole different experience for me. Dr.s alway yell about my weight and tell me I have to lose. I ask him, "am I eating to much?" He said "if anything, you aren't eating enough." Can you believe that. Those words said about me? I wish I had taken a tape recorder. LOL To record those glorious words. LOL. No yelling or negative. Just a "Your right on target" and a hug. I can get used to this. Today I am 29 days post op. Wow. Dr. Viglianco did such a wonderful job. My incision is so fine and straight. I couldn't help show it off at my last support meeting. When it is all healed up, I'm thinking it might not hardly show. Dr. Viglianco was just great at all our meetings. He even put Ed at ease. I tell everyone next to Ed, Dr. Viglianco is the most amazing man I know. He saved my life. And BCC in Grove City, They were so good to me. I was truely blessed to of found them. If I were to tell anyone anything about Dr. Vig. It would be, for something like this, go for the best and that is Dr. Vig and Dr. K. This surgery is to serious, don't take any chances. Dr. Viglianco did my surgery on June 20, 2001. I think he did a great job. I meet Dr. Viglianco at his office in Grove City on April 13th. Yep, Friday the 13th. He was very nice and explained everything and answered every question I an Ed had. I also met some of his staff. They were really nice especially Evonne. She also went through this proceedure years back and I believe she said she lost 132lb. She was very pretty and upbeat. She really impressed me and Ed. Dr. Viglianco took his time with both of us. I was very impressed. My appointment wasn't until 3:00 but we got there at 1:30 and they took us in early. We were not rushed at all and had all the time we needed. It took me about 10 minutes to fill out the forms. We got out about 3:00. They gave us directions so we can go see the hospital. The seats in that place are like love seats, very large. The pictures are soo pretty!!! I believe surgical competence and bedside manner is as important as the other. He told me how much I should lose. This was a super consultation.I ask them to not tell my husband my weight or what I need to lose. He did as I requested and discussed it with me in the examing room. I was able to discuss this with Ed myself. I liked it that he respected my wishes."
