Hello everyone, I just wanted to let you all know that Mary Gentry is doing great. She finally got back to surgery about 12:16pm and Dr Smith called us at 2:50pm to say everything went just fine, there were no surprises he said and she was doing great. She got to her room about 4:40 and was sitting up in chair by 5:30pm. She doing so good. She asked about walking but the nurse told her to wait a little longer cause they had giving her extra pain meds during or after surgery. So I left the hospital about 7:15 and she was still doing just fine. I would like to Thank you all for the prayers. Mary's sister... Sherrie

Hello sis, Well, this day has finally arrived. I want you to know how happy I am for you. I know this journey is going to chance your whole life!!!! It is going to be the must excited journey of your life. We didn't grow up together as kids but I'm so glad that we are having to chance to go through this journey of a life time together. You mean the world to me. From this day forward it will be full of different changes that we will discover together as sisters. I can't wait til we start our workouts together and for us to be able to take our kids to the park and run and play just as hard as they do. You just don't know how HAPPY I am to be your sister and to be as close to someone as I am to you. Thank God For You! Thank God for you, good sister of mine, Seldom is friendship such as thine; How very much I wish to be, as helpful as you've been to me- Thank God for you. When I recall from time to time, How you inspired this heart of mine,I find myself inclined to pray, "God bless my sister this very day"- Thank God for you. Of many prayer requests, one thou art, On whom I ask God to impart, Rich blessings from His storehouse rare, And grant to you His gracious care- Thank God for you. So often at the throne of grace, There comes a picture of your face, And then instinctively I pray, That God may guide you all the way- Thank God for you. On today I hope with you to stand, Before the throne at God's right hand, And say to you as your journey begins, Praise God, you've been a Good sister- Thank God for you. I love you Poo, From your sister, Sherrie

I wish you the very best on the surgery, and I will pray for you so it will be free of any complications. I go in tomorrow, and I am a nervous wreck. It seems the closer it gets, the more we have second thoughts. Just hang in there, soon it will be over, and we will regain our health and our lives back. I will keep all of our WLS sisters and brothers in my prayers.
