Christine, congratulations on your upcoming surgery. May peace and love surround you on your journey and carry you along safely. Remember to drink your water, take your vitamins, walk daily and most importantly, be gentle with yourself along the way. Lastly, don't forget to stop by occasionally and update your profile. Hi Christein,Ijust wanted to tell you that you made the right decision.I was like you I had no choice.It was either surgery or die FROM obesity.I was almost home bound it hurt to stand or walk. I weighed 346 pounds and I'm 5'5" and had surgery 5 months ago. This surgery has saved my life.I have lost 108 pounds and I feel so much better now and can walk every where I need to go.I CAN EVEN CLEAN HOUSE AND DO MY YARD WORK .THAT IHAVEN'T BEEN ABLE TO DO FOR THE LAST 5 YEARS.JUST DO EXACTLY what your Dr. says be sure to stick to the liquid diet I stayed on it for 3 weeks I think it is very important in order to let your stomach heal.Drink your water and get all the protein in. That really helps me I know. My prayers are with you we are anxious for you to join us on the other side.
