I am on the other side. I had suregery Monday and all went well. Had LapRNY. DR's were great nurses were great as was hospital. I am really happy with my choice. Today is the first day I have felt like going online. I feel pretty good today. No regrets. One thing is that no matter how much you read or how much you talk to people you are never really prepared. At least that was the case for me. Not that I thought this was going to be in anyway easy. This is really hard. Physically and emotionally. You really have to think about what you are doing. Water, food, pills. The pain hasn't been too bad since I lft the hospital. I have only taken one oral since I have been home. I made the great adventure yesterday. My Mom and I went to target. I drove and we shopped for 15 minutes and I went back to the car. When we got home I took a nap for 2 1/2 hours. Whew. Today my husband and I will go to the mall. Woo Hoo. Thanks to everyone this is a great resource.
