I agree that you can't consider the negative thoughts that others say. When your body hurts no one can tell you how it feels. Keep your chin up and I bet you'll find your way. Dorianne, That is really sweet of you wanting to be my angel-I accept. I was supposed to have my surgery June 2 but I did not pass my preadmission tests. I need GI and Neurology clearance. Both doctors have given me clearance, but have not yet sent the signed papers back to the bariatric center. Hopefully I will hear from the center on June 2 with a different surgery date! I hope you can have surgery sometime so your health can improve. Sharon Tumblin

Dorianne, Never mind what people say on this or any other site. The question is what did your dr say. do you qualified for wls. If so go for it, forget what others say. Best of luck on your wt journey. hang in there and stay focused. Hugs

hello everyone. I was very unhappy after first coming to this site. I was told by so many people i could not have any surgery because i was not over 100lbs over weight. I am a seriously over weight individual, with knee and back problems. Due to my height though (5'1) my bmi is 38.1. I am going past what so many have told me and try and find a place that will accept me as i am and help me be the best i can be.
