I have been doing great since my surgery. No complications and my life is so much better now. Everything is going greast besides for the rashes I keep getting under my panni. I am now down to 133 pounds from a all time high of 264. I still want to lose 18 more pounds then I am done. I cant believe that I am actually not MO anymore. This surgery was the best thing I have ever done for myself. I tell everyone what I did now and I am proud to do it. I have been fighting off a nasty infection under the pannus. I treid to get approved for reconstructive surgery ( abdominalplasty) but the nurse at the insrer said she didnt feel I was trying hard enough to get rid of them before seeking PS. I was denied on 12/13/02 and I have still not recieved the formal letter. I have been on the phone with them and my husband HR lady at least once a week, The HR is having a meeting with the insurance carrier this morning anf she said she will be looking into this matter because it is taking entierly too long. Thank god someone is willing to fight for me. I went to the PCP again yesterday because of it and he gave me antibiotics to take, plus antibiotic cream and tow large antibiotic shots in my rear, Not fun and the reas is very sore now. I had green puss oozing from the rash it was very nasty. I know gross. On a more exciting topic I have went from a size 24 to a size 4. I am in total awww. I guess I need to be updating my pics on here since I have lost quite a bit since then.

Hi I had surgery on Friday and I just got home. I am still in some pain, but I guess only having surgery 2 days ago that is to be expected. My surgon said this was one of his best operations yet:) I will post more when I feel a bit better:)

Stephanie, I had my surgery on 04/05/01 and today is my anniversary. I have lost 125 pounds and I am at my goal weight. I hope you have the same success since we will share surgery dates (one year apart). You can and will do this. Enjoy the feelings that come with your success.
