Tomorrow, Tuesday, the 30th of April (yes - I had the date wrong before- excitment is setting in!) is Linda's big day! She becomes a postie! If you havent already, please, stop by her surgery page and wish her well! She is a great lady, and is going to be a great post op success! Linda, you are in my prayers and thoughts! Love ya! Denise

Linda, I know how you feel with the swelling. The pain in your legs and feet seems unbearable at times. I am three weeks post op but while I was in the hospital they gave me Toradol, it is an antiflamatory. You can't take it orally after surgery but while in the hospital it made all the inflamation completely gone from me legs and feet. It was the first time in five years that my feet were pain free. They are hurting again now but I know now that when enough weight comes off the swelling will go away and I will be pain free again. Best of luck to you with your surgery and happy birthday to you also. My birthday is May 6th. Also you will probably be able to have some cake again but you will eat it very, very slowly and will savor every tiny crumb so a little will give you more enjoyment than ever before. God bless you and may you have as easy a recovery as I had. C sections were more uncomfortable. lol
