Hi all~ Just wanted to give my update. I am finally on the losing side my surgery was on May 8th and thanks to all of you and your prayers it was an uneventful one. Today was my first post-op visit and I am officially 18# down woohoo....I have of course but one thing that is truly bothering me and that is what soft foods should I be eating??? I did 1/2 an egg this morning and some of a baked potato with cheese. Then I had 2 vienna sausages scrunched up with some moistened crackers but I really need some ideas please help. Well enough about me!!! To everyone who has posted to my page thank you for your very kind and supportive words they really mean alot to me you have no idea. To all just getting started please don't give up you will be there soon and thats with all of our blessings. To all who are having surgery soon May God Bless you with an uneventful surgery and a speedy recovery with God carrying you through it all.

Hi Teresa! I just wanted to let you know what you can expect next year...my surgery was on your date a year ago (8/13/01). I have lost 130 lbs. so far. I wear a size 14 (from a 28-30), I can ride in airplanes, rollercoasters and fit in chairs. I can cross my LEGS! But most of all, I FEEL GOOD! May God bless you on your day--I'll be thinking of you!
