Ron...thank you so much for your note. I am so nervous. After chatting with some people tonight, I just HOPE I will get approved. I just assumed up until now, that I would, but it looks like it *may* be harder than antipicated:( I am sending my request per doctor, letters from surgeon, past medical records, all tomorrow. OVERNIGHT mail...LOL. I hope it doesn't take too long... Again, thanks for your note. Did you have OPEN or LAP?

Have you ever seen the movie: THE WIZARD OF OZ??? Well, soon you will be saying what the wicked witch said when Dorothy threw a bucket of water on her: "I'M MELTING!! I'M MELTING!!!" Those lbs will just melt off of you soon. You will soon be walking down the YELLOW BRICK ROAD to see the WIZARD OF OZ and your sweetest wish will be granted. Congratulations and good luck to you. My husband and I both had our open rny's at Pacific Bariatric in San Diego in 2001 and have lost a combined total of 325 lbs. YOU CAN DO IT TOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good luck on your upcoming surgery. Stay strong, expect some discomfort, keep moving, keep your chin up, and you'll be fine! Hugs, Diana
