Well, I have ONE WEEK LEFT UNTIL SURGERY!!!!!!! YAY!!! I am so thrilled! I met with the surgeon last night and all is in place. I have horrible seasonal allergies that turned into a sinus infection, so I had to call my PCP to see her for a heavy duty, fast acting antibiotic...so my surgery won't be postponed! Keep your fingers crossed that they do the trick! I have worked so hard to get to this point, I don't want to have to wait any longer then I have to! I hope you all have a great day and best of luck to all of you pre-op and post-ops!

Well, I have an update! My ticker is just fine! THANK GOD! I saw the cardiologist yesterday and had my EKG. He said all looked well and he granted me cardiac clearence! YAY! Then I went to the hospital to do my PATs. That was a breeze compared to what I have been through! LOL I had 3 viles of blood drawn and did lots of paperwork. Then I went up to see my friend Kathy, who had surgery on Monday! I thought I was quite brave seeing her so post-op, knowing that I will be in that position in little over a week! LOL Anyhow, I have ONE DR. appt. left and then I am DONE with all my pre-op stuff...FINALLY! My husband and I meet with my surgeon today to get all of the necessary information about what I need to do the day before surgery and the day of surgery! I can't believe in 8 days I will be in surgery! YAY!! Have a great day all!

Chapin, for me PATs were a POC (piece of cake) lol. Done faster than expected. Blood work, Saw dietition, talked briefly with the doctor. ultrasound of gall bladder. That's all. Took about 1hr 45 min. Quick and easy. Best of luck to you. Peace.
