I had my surgery in March of this year, I am now 110 pounds lighter. Just a little something to look forward to. Good luck and I am positive that things will go well! He is a great doctor and it is a fantastic hospital. One word of advice...EAT WHILE YOU STILL CAN...Although the results of the surgery are mindblowing there are some foods that you will not be able to eat after your surgery. If there are any foods you like, eat them now and drink all the soda you can, soda is a no-no after surgery. GOOD LUCK, it is a breeze. And it will change your life forever, you will do things that you never thought you could do. For instance I walked over 5 miles today without even thinking, it was wonderful...When you wake up from your surgery there will be pain but realize this...It is the first day of your new life, the pain will fade quickly but the happiness will last a lifetime. Annamarie~I wish you the best with your upcoming surgery.Your date will be here before you know it! Over 55 lbs later I can definately say this is the greatest thing I have ever done for myself.Keep us posted on your progress. God Bless~Kim
