I tried to post earlier but couldn't. Part of the message is old, but the feelings are still the same. Hi everyone. I am Michelle Jackson's sister and I just wanted to post a note for her. She had her surgery yesterday and everything went very well. She is resting comfortably. She even sat up in the bed a couple of hours after she got back into the room. Thanks to everyone for your love and support. I am very happy for my baby sister and so very proud of her!

Hi everybody. Tickled to give you another update on Michelle. The girl is the bomb. We got her checked out of the "Ritz-Carlton" at noon today. She looks like her old self and with the exception of a some soreness and a little gas pain, feels great. She already had tiny cups of tea, milk, pudding, soup, and has done well with all. She even showered before going home. I told her I'm praying I do half as well as she did. She was very happy to be home in her own little apartment. Has an appointment to see the doc in 2 weeks. you MADE IT!! woohoo Honey..you're on the OTHER SIDE!! now's comes all the adjustments...okay not always so easy..but the weight loss..hoo boy! is that ever the easy part! Just remember to DRINK WATER WATER WATER!!! ***HUGS*** Bree

Hi everyone, Haven't been able to post since her sister and I went with Michelle to surgery. This is day 3 for her and she is doing fantastic. Of course pain at first, we knew that. Had a little problem with blood pressure but a couple different meds and she did well. Passed her leak test with flying color this morning and got her tube out. She was testing out several things the remainder of the day. So far so good. She is in excellent spirits and can't believe that it's really over and that she is on "the other side". Praise God!
