Northern Virginia Community Hospital

"Many of the electrical outlets did not work which kept monitors in your room going off day and night. If was after a visit with my doctor and my continued complaining did they resolve the problem. Many of the pole legs that hold the IV bags were dysfunctional making it hard to walk with them. Prep material that needed to be sterile were not during my surgery and added 2 addnl hours to my surgery time, nor would the vhs machine work to video tape the surgery. I did not eat the food day 2-3; the jello was horrible. I requested sherbet but was told they did not have; another nurse on another shift did bring me some. The majority of the nursing staff were very kind and helpful depending upon the shift. The morning and late night were especially nice."

"I have not discussed bariatric surgery with her, but she takes her time and listens, and is very supportive, I highly recommend her."
