Today I am 17 days post op. - and all is going great. I have lost 12 inches total, but am uncertain as to what that amounts to in pounds. I will be going to my first post op. appt. next monday - I will find out my weight at that time. I have been walking 45 min. a day since I've gotten home from the hospital - getting to be a challenge with the sauna-like conditions, but still able to do it. I find myself wanting to do things like make the bed and do the laundry, put on my tennis shoes and tie them myself, things that I should have someone else lift or bend to do. Hope it doesn't get me in trouble. I am having slight discomforts on the right side of the incision when I bend or turn certain ways...hope it is just the pains from the removed gallbladder and not a hernia. But I am truly feeling great with energy to do all I undertake. More later. Deb K.

I am having problems updating my information, so I am trying it another way. Today I am about 14 days post op., and I am feeling wonderful. Most of the soreness has passed, and it is going great. The surgery was fast and easy (only about 90 min.)- and even included the removal of my gallbladder! The nurses, doctors and caregivers at the Hospital were great - they encouraged me every step of the way. Thanks for all the messages of goodwill, prayers, and Godspeed to you all. I will try to get my before picture posted soon...I will have my first Doctor appt. post surgery on the 24th of June - that is when I will find out what I have lost so far. Best wishes to those coming up on surgery. Toodles. Deb Keil
