Each day brings with it the miracle of a new beginning. Many of the moments ahead will be marvelously disguised as ordinary days, but each one of us has the chance to make something extraordinary out of them. ~ D.Pagels ~ May you be blessed during your surgery and recovery!

Best of luck with your surgery. I will have ya in my prayers for a painfree and speedy recovery. ****Loving Father, I entrust my AMOS friend to your care this day; guide with wisdom and skill the minds and hands of the medical people who minister in your Name, and grant that every cause of illness be removed, I may be restored to soundness of health and learn to live in more perfect harmony with you and with those around them. Through Jesus Christ. Amen.*** ~~T

Lisa, I've seen from your "interests" list that you'd like to learn quilting! That's Cool! It's one of the things I, too. would like to learn. When you get to the Losing Side, you'll find yourself with a lot more energy (after the 1st few weeks of healing). I can just see it now: quilts everywhere! LOL! You can make them out of the clothes you no longer can wear as you lose weight! It'll have more interest than say, a baby quilt or ordinary heirloom design, to be sure! Each patch will tell a story! See you on the Losing Side! May your Journey there be swift and uneventful! Diane
