This is Michelle's sister Connie, Michelle came through her surgery fine yesterday afternoon. She is in a great deal of pain, but her husband is staying with her to help her through the first couple of days. She has been up to walk a few times already and is hoping to have her tube out of her nose today. She is still real groggy and tired, but Dr says she was stable through the whole surgery and all went well. THANK YOU GOD!!

My prayers will be with you as you go through the surgery and recovery. May your strength be restored; your recovery be swift and your tender heart be renewed.

I wish you the very best on the surgery, and I will pray for you so it will be free of any complications. I go in tomorrow, and I am a nervous wreck. It seems the closer it gets, the more we have second thoughts. Just hang in there, soon it will be over, and we will regain our health and our lives back. I will keep all of our WLS sisters and brothers in my prayers.

Well Sis, only 10 more days till your re-birth day. I just want you to know I am here for you as always, I LOVE YOU with all my heart and soul. As Mom told us when we were young, friends come and go, but a sister is a sister for life. You've seen what I went through 11 weeks ago, and I made it, you have always been the tougher of the two and I know you will come through with flying colors. I admit I am probably more nervous than you, I couldn't bear anything to happen to you, but I know God, Mom and Grandma are looking out for you, and you are doing the right thing. I will be here for you every step of the way, we will be doing this together!! You have a great Dr and she will pull you through. Be patient, and in 9 days and a wake up, you will be there and done and on the other side to the new you. I LOVE YOU SIS!
