Hi Gloria.....GOOD LUCK AND BEST WISHES!!! I too have Dr. Artuso....and my surgery would have been May 23rd has I not had a cruise planned for the last year. We had to move it back a week...so my surgery is May 30th at Westchester Medical Center also. I too have MVP and went through the same problem with the Dobbs Ferry hospital being denied. They are working on getting the hospital a participator with MVP....however it isn't going to happen any time soon. They had to re-schedule mine at Westchester. FUnny thing is that it helped my surgery date....I actually got moved up to May 30th from June 3rd...so go figure! <p> I started a WLS support group here in Orange County...and there are 3 others who use Dr. Artuso as well....everyone loves him and the post-ops are really happy with their surgery and results thus far. I hope you have the same positive reaction as well!! May your surgery be non-eventful....recovery quick...and pain as minimal as possible. See you on the other side!! CONGRATULATIONS!
