Hi Gail! Congrats on having your surgery! I bet you feel relieved now. It's over and now you are on the other side and can join the ranks of the losers. Welcome, my friend!!! Happy RE-Birthday to you! From this day forward you life will change forever. Just try to take it easy and remember to sip, walk, deep breathe and cough. These first few days are rough, but I assure you they get better with each passing day. I just wanted you to know that I was thinking about you today and that you are in my thoughts and prayers for an uncomplicated, swift recovery. You are an official loser!! Wishing you much success in your weight-loss journey. Soft hugs to you today. God bless, DI from NJ - Lap RNY, 12/09/03

My Dad called this afternoon. They took my mom into surgery at about 4:00. She made it into recovery with no problem. The doc says everything looked fine. They did find a hernia and repaired it during surgery. She won't have to go back in and have that fixed later!

My prayers will be with you as you go through the surgery and recovery. May your strength be restored; your recovery be swift and your tender heart be renewed.

Rather than set up an account, though since I'm going to go through this as well I should set up an account, I just logged in as Shane. Good luck Monday, our thoughts will be with you. I'm not worried about you handling this, you son did well with his surgery and recovery (well, except for being cranky about cream of celery soup). I figure that was because of the way he was raised, and since you did that well, I'm sure you'll handle it just as well as he did, if not better. Mom's always want so show they can do things better than their kids so the kids don’t worry. Take care, Steve
