Amy, congratulations on your progress so far. I wonder if you have thought of pureeing tuna with some mayo or some dressing with chicken broth, vegetalbles with broth and baked sweet potato or mashed potato with broth.I would think grits or cream of wheat would be okay too.Along with refried beans and there are several fruits you could put into the blender to soften, like bananas or melon. For a snack you could eat a snow cone.Hope some of this helps.Blessings,

Hi Amy and welcome home from the hospital! I hope your recovery is as painfree as it possibly can be. Please write me and let me know how you're doing and if you have any questions. It seems that you made a lot of friends through this site and from your hospital stay; that is so great! Hope to hear from you soon. Sincerely, Lori Ann

Hi Amos Friends. I spoke with Amy this morning, she came through wls good and had her first big lunch yesterday-----three sips of beef broth! Amy has a great friend---Jennifer (who is a member of this wonderful website) visiting her everyday and updating for us on Amy's progress. Amy has had some difficulties with fever at night, but she's shared that she is feeling alright. Yesterday she received a visit from her family---husband, 22 month old daughter and nieces and newfews. Anyway, Amy will probably be leaving the hospital Sunday. I'll update more as things move on. Thanks for supporting Amy! Sincerely, Amy's 'angel'==Lori Ann

I just returned home from seeing Amy, she is doing awesome, they took her NG tube out today and she got up and walked and is doing wonderful. She needs people to sign her card and let her know that you are thinking of her. I am proud of you Amy.
