Ok, AMOS family I am looking to all of you once more for prayers and encouragement. My dear friend Helen had her surgery Friday and came through it with flying colors. Everything went without a hitch. Her and her husband even got to stay the night in a nice hotel after being released from the hospital and the hospital covered it since the insurance wouldn't cover an extra hospital stay. Here is where your prayers are needed... Helens father was involved in a shooting over the weekend and is in the hospital. As of now he is ok but may need surgery. I won't go into details, but just ask that you keep Helen and her family in your prayers and or thoughts. I know this is very stressful and tiring for her after just having surgery. I am very happy to report that Helen is on the losing side!!!! I spoke to her Friday night and she sounded fantastic! She had a little discomfort but thinks that is probably from the gas caused during the lap procedure. She has been up and around and visiting with other patients. I haven't heard from her since but she should be home by now. I will give her a call later to see how she is doing. Thank you to everyone that sent prayers and encouraging words!! Congrats Helen!!!!!!!
