Hi mary ann, I am almost 3 months out from my surgery and here are my thoughts on what you posted. 2 hard boiled eggs seems like alot. Are you drinking while eating? Also the egg drop soup would be flushing the food through your pouch. By drinking and having soup you are defeating the tool of the pouch. I forget what else you mentioned that was soft-but I know I can eat much more soft foods than solid. The thing that I'm struggling with right now is not drinking at least 45 minutes after eating. By drinking, it flushes the food through sooner and you become hungry sooner. Good luck. Lynda ME/FL

I just wanted to say GOOD LUCK on your surgery. Take a deep breath, try to relax. Know that we all care about you and are wishing you the best. Think positive, it really does help. After surgery, REMEMBER,….turn, cough, and take deep breaths, and walk to prevent complications. Hold your incision when you cough, it helps it hurt less. Smile, keep your chin up! And lastly, if your chin does fall, just remember, from this position it is easier to moon people! (Also, humor helps too!)
