Best of luck on your upcoming surgery. I had my surgery on 5/9 with Dr Otteman, and he did a great job! My best advise to you is to get up and be as active as possible as soon as you can after surgery. You'll feel much better if you're more active.

Heather, I live in Denver and will be having an open RNY on 10/19. Like you, I was hoping for the laparascopic procedure as well, but I don't want to wait another 6 months for this life change! You will be in my thoughts as you "cross-ver". Best of luck to you!
