Hello Amos, I havent had much time to be on line but still see the board now and then, I am doing GREAT. I am down from 246 to 189 its being very slow now but I can finally wear a size 12 I went shopping friday and i still see my self looking at big size. I dont weight my self everyday cuz I dont have a scale at home, wish is a good thing! so till then take care xoxoxox

hi hilda..i had to laugh when i read your post..i had surgerey july15 and i still want to eat somedays..somedays are easier than others ..but this is a new lifestyle also..and if i eat the wrong things im ruined for the day so itsa not even worth it..your going to be fine ..next year at this time youll be so used to your new life that food wont bug you..at least thats what i keep telling myself..giggle..hang in there ok..joann

Dear Hilda.........Congratulations on making it into size 18's. I just got there too. Isn't it great? Soon we will be able to shop in the 14-16 sizes and have tons of things to choose from. It's so exciting cause it felt like I would wear tent like t-shirts forever. Imagine yourself by this time next year. VA-VA-VOOM lol

Hello Amos, Well I’m back, Thanks to God, I am finally here at work, I want to thanks everyone who send me well wishes. So let me tell you a little about my experience, I had surgery on July 19 I got to the Hospital around 8am but surgery was schedule for 10:15am it was scary, I had bad thoughts in my mind but I knew i was in good hands. Once time came up it was so hard to let go of my daughter i starter to cry so did she I want it to go back home, but i told my self NO this is it, I have wait it so long for this. Well my brother took my baby out of the room and we say goodbye. Last time I seen the clock it was around 10:45am and that was it, when I woke up I WAS IN PAIN! It was around 6pm But the nurse work really fast and it was gone in minutes. Meanwhile I was waiting to see my baby and there she was on the door but she was not able to come in to see me. For me it was the most wonderful moment, I knew I was ALIVE! They took me to my room around 8pm I know surgery was done around 3pm. Oh god thank you for the morphine, I was pushing that button like crazy!! I was up and walking Friday night, "BUT HAD LOTS OF PAIN" I finally came home on Monday around 2pm. I went straight to Bed with LOTS of pillows, I was doing fine. But a week after surgery I cheated on my diet and eat chicken, BIG MISTAKE I was sick for 3 days. So my doc put me back to the liquid diet for an other week. Great eh! So far I lost 31lb and am really happy I had my Ups and down but finally filling better!

Hilda... where are you girl? I miss seeing you on the Message board. I've been wondering about you for a couple days now. I hope this finds you doing well and recovery nicely from surgery. Prayers ^j^

I'm not Hilda's angel, but I stopped by to see her today on her first post op day after her lap rny. (My mom had open rny surgery on the same day, and she's two doors down from Hilda). Anyway, Hilda looks great! I didn't stay and talk, but printed her surgery card for her and sent her flowers. Keep her in prayer for a speedy recovery.

Hilda, I wish you the best of luck! I hope you have a speedy and complication free recovery! You'll have a better time in Disneyland next year when you'll really be able to walk around and enjoy life!
