Lynn, I had the chemically induced stress test and there was nothing to it. I was shocked when he told me he was finished. I did it as an outpatient. I had to go to nuclear medicine where they started IV's and took some x-rays, I then went to the Doctor's office and he hooked me up to the machine and the person from the nuclear medicine department came to his office and put the medicine in my IVs. The doctor did whatever he had to do. When I went back to nuclear medicine I had more x-rays and that was it. No pain or breathlessness or flushing at all. The table I had to lay on was the most discomfort I had. It was very narrow and I felt as if I was going to fall off.

Lynn, As long as you have a group of good surgery nurses. There should be nothing to worry, they have plenty of sheets and drapes to cover all areas not being operated on. Best of Luck, Tamara
