~~~Well... hey there everyone!!! I know that most of you must have figured that I had just dropped off of the face of the earth, but here I am!! I still visit the site and the message board regularly, but it seems like I'm always stopping by on the run and don't have time to post. (Which is evident from my profile page!! LOL) I'm now 5 months post op and am down 114 pounds. What a difference! I feel great, still get SOB when I exercise, but at least I'm able to exercise. That's a first. For Christmas a received a membership to a local healthclub, so that I can participate in their water aerobics class. I'm really looking forward to that. That brings me to my plea to you. January is not exactly the right time of year to try to find a bathing suit in NC, so anyone who has a bathing suit in a 20 22 or 24 and is willing to send it my way, pleaseeeee let me know. Next, I have an announcement for those members in northeastern NC. A support group has finally been started in the Elizabeth City area and will have it's first meeting tonight, at 7pm at Albemarle Hospital. Anyone wanting further details, feel free to contact me: [email protected]. May you all have an awesome New Year, and may your weight loss dreams come true, whatever they may be. Much love~~xoxo
Tracy, WOW you are doing fantastic!! Keep in mind that everyone loses in a different rate, the most important aspect is to lose amd that we all get to our journies in due time. It is so much fun to see your bones. Amazing how much different we look as the pounds drop away!! Keep up the good work! KimmieTN
Tracy, Seeing your update was wonderful! WOW what a WL you have to chalk up. Keep those "head hunger" feedings under control and find some other things to keep you busy. I had the same problem with another surgery and an open incision...nasty but finally healed. Glad to see that you are up and moving and in good spirits! KimmieTN
Tracy - Congratulations on making it home safe and sound. Now all you have to do is follow the doctors orders! :) I agree with you - why hurt if you don't have to! Hope you'll be feeling no pain and I pray that you will see the pounds and inches melt off, over the next weeks and months ahead. God bless!
Hi Tracy, Well, here we are 1 week out. I can't see it was an easy trip but I'm glad we made it this far. Aren't you excited about the future? I hope everything continues to go well for you. I'm doing OK. Jan
*****Well hello everyone. I sure have missed you.... I am recovering slowly but surely from my OPEN RNY done one week ago today. I'm still highly medicated (no need to hurt if ya ain't got to!), so I can't read or write very well these days :-) I do want to take this opportunity to say THANK YOU to all of you great folks who have signed my surgery page and sent your words of wisdom and encouragement. What a great family you are. I'll be back as my pain medicine allows..... *******
Think I posted twice by mistake, sorry. I just wanted to wish you the very best Tracy. I am pretty close to you and if you need anything feel free to let me know. I am planning on having my surgery in Greenville as well, no date as yet but will find out soon. Gods blessings to you, Gwen ~*never drive faster than your angel can fly*~
