Jenni, your post on the 16th touched my heart! I know how you feel. I have been there. I wish I had been able to talk to you before you left, unfortunately I am just now reading your post. I hope and pray you have a very easy time of it and recuperate quickly. Focus on the positive, getting thru this and coming home and getting well and smooth (as my gson put it). Please shoot me an email when you get home and are up to posting! God bless and keep you safe, Marcia

Best Wishes for a successful surgery and smooth recovery! Weigh to go! I just read another post from someone who just had surgery and the thing that hurts the most is their BACK. And it is PAINFUL, not just uncomfortable. THE LAST THING YOU NEED TO TELL YOUR SURGEON, BEFORE THEY PUT YOU UNDER, IS TO PUT SOMETHING UNDER YOUR KNEES TO TAKE THE PRESSURE OFF YOUR BACK!!! Time and time again folks are coming out of the O.R. and their back is killing them. It’s because you are lying flat on your back for hours on a hard surface. How long can you do that now? If the surgeon will just put a rolled up blanket under your knees this problem will be eliminated! Got It?... Good…. Problem solved. (Or at least talk it over with him/her).
