Hi sweetie :) Gosh, it's been sooooooo long!!!!!! Back in Sept, I lost ALL of my contact info from my phone. Can you email me your number and I'll do the same? Hi Patty! PLEASE call me and update me as to how you are doing :) I saw that you posted to Lynnda's surgery page so know that you're "around" and are probably just very very busy these days. I sure hope this finds you well and being able to get down food easier. I certainly miss you and am sending tons of hugs your way!!!! Love, Caroline

Hi Patty, I can't tell you how nice it was to meet you Saturday. I feel like such a dope, not putting two and two together. I don't know what happened. I do know this, I am so very happy for you that you've started your WLS journey. Know that I am totally here for you if you have any questions, concerns, I would be happy to talk to you any time. Like we talked about Saturday, please start talking your vitamins, try eating slower and chew, chew, chew. You don't want to get in the habit of throwing up. I've been there. It ruins your esophagus and you will have problems later. If you read my profile you will see what I mean. I had problems in August the week before my wedding, ended up in the hospital and have been in 4 times since. All from throwing up! So, I can't stress enough to you about chewing and eating slow. And, if you think something is not right, call and ask the doctor. Okay, that's it for now. I send you lots of blessings and if you ever need to talk...let me know!!! Love, Carol Ann

Patty..I just read your update on your profile. It is great to hear you are doing better. Have you started regular foods yet? I can't believe your doctor didn't tell your family you were okay. That is so HORRIBLE!!! I would have been mad too. Keep up the good work and let me know how you are doing. I will be thinking of you! ~Hugs~ Maria (P.S. ^j^ Angel Flying In with an Update! ^j^ Patty had her Lap RNY surgery on 9/25/03 and is doing great so far. She is looking forward to being able to officially add in some solids to her food regimine She is seeing her GYN doctor today rg a cyst found on one of her ovaries during her WLS. Thank you for posting to her surgery support page offering her your prayers!

^j^ ANGEL FLYING IN ^j^ I did hear from Patty late last night and she is ok and has returned from the ER. It turns out that she has a cyst or tumor in her left ovary which is causing the pain she's been experiencing. She will be following up with her GYN on Monday. Please continue to keep her in your prayers though as I want to make sure she comes through this ok.<br> Sending hugs and love,<br> Caroline
