This is from Cindy's Sister.... Hi to all, I am Cindy's sister Charlotte. I am letting all know that Cindy had her surgery at 3:00pm, and at 5:30pm she got done. She returned to her room around 7:45pm. She was unable to recieve laproscopic surgery and ended up with a full incision. Her oxygen level dropped to 83 when she was returned to her room, but after her CPAP machine was applied her O2 level rose to 95. She still can't recieve any pain medication until her level is up to 97 or better, but she is doing well. Quite groggy, and in pain, but concidering the surgery she had doing well. We were suprised at the length of time in surgery(we were told it would take 6 hours if they had to open her up) and are hoping this means she will recover quickly. God Bless to all who have her in her prayers. I will keep you posted until she is able to do this on her own.

Hi Cindy! Congrats on having your surgery! Let the weight loss begin!! I bet you feel relieved now. It's over and now you are on the other side and can join the ranks of the losers. Welcome, my friend!!! Happy RE-Birthday to you! From this day forward you life will change forever. Just try to take it easy and remember to sip, walk, deep breathe and cough. Take those pain pills and splint the tummy! These first few days are rough, but I assure you they get better with each passing day. Some days those emotions will resurface and try to get the best of you, but just remember what you’ve been through to get this far! I’m sure you’ll be proud of what you’ve accomplished so far. You know you can always come here and get a dose of confidence and good will! We will still be here to support you and cheer you on as the pounds come off! I just wanted you to know that I was thinking about you today and that you are in my thoughts and prayers for an uncomplicated, swift recovery. You are an official loser!! Wishing you much success in your weight-loss journey. Soft hugs to you today. God bless, DI from NJ - Lap RNY, 12/09/03 -52 lbs *In Loving Memory of Momma Angel*
