Congratulations on your surgery being a success. I hope all is well with you! I am also having surgery with Dr. Gaskin on 3/13/02. Would you rate him as an excellent surgeon? Also, I had Dr. Fabito, but he cancelled his surgeries at the last minute... I noticed you had him also, but Changed to Dr. Gaskin.. May I ask why???? I am trying to find out as much about Dr. Gaskin as possible. Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated! Also, My surgery will be at southpointe hospital. Was your surgery there? Thanks again and I hope you are feeling better.

Debbie, Congratgulations on your journey! It sounds like you are off to a great start. I had a lot of nauseau right after I got out of the hospital also. I can tell you it does fade. Good luck and glad to see you made it to the other side safely. :) Colleen

Angel reporting***** I went by the hospital to see Debbie this morning and she was being dismissed. She looks great she said the only problem she is having is nausea. She has quite a drive home so they were giving her a pain shot for the ride. I am sure she will update once she is home.

Angel reporting**** Debbie is on the losing side I talked with my sister n law and Debbie's sister she was in her room around 11:30 in alot of pain complaining about alot of shoulder pain. They gave her something that helped that along and she was resting. I am going to go visit her tomorrow. Everyone keep her in your prayers tonight.

Hi~~ Just wanted to wish you ALL the best with your upcoming surgery. I'm 5 days post op and know the first couple of days are gonna be rough on you....in fact up until Saturday morning in the hospital, I couldn't believe I'd put myself thru such hell (nose tube, IV, etc). The soreness hasn't been a big issue for me yet---wish I could tolerate the Lortab pain med that the hospital started me on but had to give that up for liquid ibuprofen (tastes TERRIBLE!!). My advice for anyone after surgery: as soon as the doc/nurses give you leave to walk, do as much of it as possible. It'll get you home quicker. Lord bless you and keep you as safe & comforable as possible.

ANGEL UPDATE***** Well the countdown begins for Debbie her surgery is in 2 days. She is leaving for St.Louis tomorrow. Everyone wish her the best luck. I know she is extremely nervous.
