Well, it’s official! You’re on the losing side. The trumpets are blaring, the cymbals are crashing and the drums are drumming – all for YOU! I hope that all went well for you! You’ve been out of surgery now for a little over a month – YIPPIE!!! Your journey will have moments to “pause” – I’d like to impart some words of wisdom for when it does occur - remember these wise words whispered by Confucius – “It does not matter how slowly you go so long as you do not stop.” Be patient. You didn’t put it on over night, it won’t come off over night (DARN IT!)… RNY 10/31/03 – down 81 pounds!!! Good luck!

Hang in there! You will get to feeling better soon. I just had open RNY on 2/18/04. I am having poian but glad to finally be home! Just know there are lots of us out there thinking about you and wishing you a speedy recovery.

Jeanne... Honey, just tough-it-out for a little while and it will be better before you know it. Everyone I have spoken to and written to say the first few weeks are unpleasant, but certainly worth a life-time of a happier and better life. My thoughts and prayers are with you!
