Jeff- Thank you for your encouragement on the CA Board! You make me laugh! I wish you all the best for a smooth and quick recovery. As for your surgery, I think that taking a quick nap was a great idea and I plan to do the same on Tuesday 2-17! Thank you for the laugh. Laughter is the best medicine! Lynda P

Just got off the phone with Jeff. He is still in the hospital (UCLA-Westwood). He had a blockage of the lower intestine and they had to do emergency surgery last night to fix it. Turns out he had a hernia repaired during his lap RNY and the mesh expanded somehow and put pressure on the bowels causing them to block. There was no complications with the RNY procedure. He said he couldn't of asked for better care and treatment at the hospital. He sounds really good and should be coming home on Monday.
