Thanks to everyone for there support. As manyof you already know I had to met a weight loss requirement set by my physician by the testing date of March 25th. Unfortunately I did not reach that goal ( I'm only 1/2 the way there) so my surgery is put off indefinitely. To everyone else. Keep on losing.

Kathryn, Don't give up....just get some "tunnel vision"...only see the 30 pounds and nothing else. I wish you the best. P.S.....Atkins worked well for me at one time, and at least you won't starve on it. Good luck. Charlene

Kathryn, I am wishing you a successful, complication-free surgery and a smooth, quick recovery. I had my open RNY on 12/10/01 and can honestly say that I have NO regrets other than not having done this several years sooner. It is, without a doubt, the best thing I could have done for myself. God bless you as you begin your healthy new life.
