Congratulations on your one year anniversary!!! It is very inspiring for me - looking forward to an update on your pictures. By the way, I have Kaiser Southern California and it took me almost 2 years to go through the hoops, but went faster when I change PCP to one who believes in this surgery for those who really need it. My surgery is 4/29 at UCLA and I hope to follow in your lead. Thank you for posting! Sharon

Thank you everyone for all the support! I am now one year post-op and down 130 lbs! I am happy and very healthy! I have sent in new photos to the site of me hopefully they will make it up over the next few weeks. Take care to all and best wishes to all of you who are celebrating a one year anniversary! Hi Joann. I also had open rny wls . I had it done on 11/13/00 and have already lost 103 pounds, you will do great!!I had wls in fresno and like you I am also a nurse! What a small world! EMAIL ME ANYTIME OK?
