Joan, what kind of website is that? Was it against the surgery? It sounds like a forum to discourage people from having it. If so, you will hear only negative things. Here, we hear it all, the negative and the positive. Read a lot of the posts here, you'll find both. Good luck.

I have an appointment with Dr. Nazarian's ofice on August 1st, 2002. I have been on this other web-site that is frankly scaring me. They are talking about the anemia, osteoporosis, auto-immune deficiencies, staples lossening and leaking, metabolic slowdown and eventual weight regain that is a result of this surgery. Any comments??
