I am 6 months post surgery. I have lost 93 pounds. I have had no problems. Some meats don't want to go down, but other than that I have done great. I went from a size 26 to a size 16. I weighed 321 before surgery and now weigh 228. I hope to loss about 60 more pounds to be my ideal weight. My docotor thinks by Thanksgiving I should be there. YEAH!!!!

Hi, I had surgery and it went great. I went to get my staples out Monday 1/27 and I had lost 21 pounds, that's just two weeks. YEAH!! I love Dr. Alston. He has great bedside manners. He is willing to answer all questions. For those who haven't had their surgery yet, if you get up and move around the pain goes away alot quicker. I am returning to work half days in one week.(4 weeks post surgery)Thanks for your thoughts and prayers.

Joy, congratulation on your upcoming surgery. Dr. Alston did mine on 8-20-02. As of today I have lost almost 110lbs. and feel great. Good luck and God bless.
