It has been a long time since I have posted. In my last update I was home from the hospital and doing great. A couple of days later, I had really painful abdominal cramping and vomiting. After about 12 hours of this my surgeon sent me to the ER and I ended up having a second surgery. I had developed a bowel obstruction and pancreatitis. A very dangerous and (from what my doctor said) rare complication. I was in ICU for 9 days and in the hospital for 2 weeks. I am happy to announce that I am starting to get back to a normal life now and have lost 43 pounds in six weeks. I love reading all of your posts, it has helped me through a tough time, so thanks!

Well, I did it! I came me yesterday from the hospital and everything seems to be going as scheduled. Today I am even feeling a little hungry. (Only eating full liquids) I have been taking multiple walks outside and go a little further each time. Thanks to everyone for all of your kind messages and prayers! I am doing great!

Less than 48 hours until the big day! I am nervous and starting to get excited. Packing my bag for the hospital tonight, just have to get through tomorrow and then off to the hopital at 7:30 on Wednesday morning. By the weekend I will be on my way to being healthier! Yeah!
