Hi Sharon. Hope everything went well. I had my surgery on 9/13/2001, and it went very smoothly (thank God). It really wasn't as bad as I anticipated. I've lost over 20 pounds already! I'm really sorry you had to go it alone at the hospital. That must be really rough. My husband was overseas, and couldn't get home until a week after my surgery. I did, however, have my parents and oldest daughter with me. I'm so happy it's over...but i can't wait to get off of jello and pureed foods! best of luck to you.

Sharon, Best wishes for a quick, uneventful surgery and a short easy recovery. I see Dr. Vanguri for my physical next week - hopefully it won't be too long until I'm where you are. Lori
