Hey everyone, its been a while since I have updated because I feel like I am failing myself and slipping back to my old ways. I am down to 265 from 348 so I cant complain too much but I would like to be doing alot better. Good luck with everyone whos starting this process and thanks to everyone who shows support to those who need it.

Dear Brandy: Congratulations on your weight loss!!! 68 lb loss is nothing to sneeze at. I had my wls on August 20th, thus far, I've lost 50 lb! I started at 324, and now I'm 274. Brandy~ Congrats on your weight loss. That's awesome! I've heard many post ops say that once they have the surgery it's hard to get back to Obesity.com to update regularly. They just want to 'get on with their lives'. I hope you will continue to update on your progress. Its those postings that motivate and encourage others. Good or Bad the information is invaluable. Brandy, WOO HOOO you are making some serious movement in your life. As a young person your whole life will open up for you as the weight decreases and your health improves. By being courageous and having surgery prior to being ill you have saved yourself much heartache and pain. I wish you all the best as you continue your journey. KimmieTN

Hello all I talked with Brandy yesterday and she sounded wonderful. I enjoyed talking with her mom she is such a sweet lady. She said she isn't in much pain. She is doing wonderfully. Way to go Brandy. If you haven't please sign her page. Thanks

Hello, everyone. We're back from the hospital. Brandy Y had her surgery on Thursday and has just gotten home. So far, so good. She says it wasn't as bad as she was expecting. After the first couple of days it was bearable. She's glad to be home. Thank you to everyone that kept her in their prayers and don't forget my surgery is 9/5/02. I'm sure I'll have plenty to keep me busy until then with Brandy being at home.

Hi all!!! Angel landing!!! I wanted to update everyone on how well Brandy's doing. I talked with her mom today and she said Brandy ate her first meal today and she is doing great. She gets to go home tomorrow afternoon. She is still weak but she is up and walking. Please show Brandy some support and sign her page. Thanks alot!! Michelle Winner
