Connie - I'm so happy for you; you have a date this date! I live in Fairborn (near Dayto), had my surgery (open) two years ago. I have lost 174 lbs. You will do great - just do what the doctor says. Stay positive. Exercise a little when you are up to it. I wish you a successful journey.

Congratulations Connie! I am so excited and thrilled for you in getting the surgery done. Don't worry about feeling scared about the surgery, its only normal. I haven't been approved yet, but I'm a little nervous allready! : ) Just remember the benefits outweigh the minimal risks. Have faith that God will be watching over you and your family.
