Hi Teresa, I'd say don't be nervous but, heck, I was nervous! Of course it was all for nothing (except I burned a few extra calories) because my surgery went just fine. In fact, the week before surgery was harder than the week after. I'd say I had more soreness than pain; all completely manageable. Keep it positive. That includes having only positive people around you. The negative ones will just test your nerves. Don't forget to post your experiences to surgery pages when you feel better. I hope all your health and weight-loss dreams come true,

Today I am 8 days away from my surgery. It is all set up. All fingers and toes are crossed and my prayers are said. Hopefully all goes well! Sleep Apneia turned out ot be severe, so I must be fitted with CPAP, before next monday. Got it covered. I will be glad to be post-op.
