2026 Update

Mar 28, 2026

"A lot can happen in 14 years. When I first wrote about my struggle with weight, I was 33. Today, I’m 47 with seven children and a much more complex health picture. Between my thyroid, new battles with uterine fibroids, and the onset of perimenopause, my body has been through a constant hormonal tug-of-war.

The journey hasn't been a straight line; it’s been a series of mountains and valleys. It’s been hard to find stability when my health keeps shifting, but I’m still here, still fighting, and still looking for a way to manage my weight and hormones properly. I’ve realized that this isn’t just about a number on a scale anymore—it’s about surviving and thriving through these changes so I can be there for the family I love so much."
