It has been a long time since I have been on here to blog or search to see what's up. I am just 25 pounds from my goal weight, and I would love to be there by my surgery anniversary, but I don't know if I'm going to make it. I still have a lot of trouble seeing how different I look, I guess this is a result of how long I was, well HUGE. I like that I'm smaller now, but I have some excess skin that annoys me around my waist and a little on my thighs...I was thinking about getting a compression garment to ride this out and hopedully I won't need plastic surgery, but I'm not sure where to get one...which company is the best...etc. If anyone know anything about them let me know!

I actually feel like posting a blog!
Since my surgery a little more than a month ago, I have experienced a range of emotions! I went through buyers remorse to completely happy and content and then back to feeling that I had made a mistake. From what I understand, this is completely normal. I have heard time and time again that nothing can prepare you for what's to come after surgery, and those who told me this couldn't have been more right! My world has been turned upside down from this surgery, but in the best way possible! I'm getting healthy, friends and co-workers can see the change in me physically and even emotionally. Even though I am upset with the changes sometimes a have to admit that I am a lot happier! My kids at work love the change, because I'm able to run around more before getting worn out!
Anyway I guess in short this was a true blessing, and things are so much easier since I can eat some of my favorite foods, even if I have no desire to! LOL! For anyone who takes the time to browse my profile, and read this, if you're on the fence....do it! You may get upset and there's no preapring you for it, but it's so worth it, I am already seeing the benefits after just 50 lbs and two pant sizes!
