I am a 61 year old lady that had WLS October 26,007. I began to have weight issues slowly after the birth of my second chilD. By the time I was 30 and had my last child, I had gained quite a bit of weight. A week before surgery,I weighed 245 lbs.! Way too much weight for this 5'3" frame.I thank God that I was made aware of WLS by my son,Randall,who had it 3 years before I did. It saved my life! I had so many health issues. Some of them are already being resolved because of the weight going away.
