February 2007 I laid on the surgery table and asked "What the hell am I doing?" This is elective surgery and I could not make it. That and 100 lbs later for 11 years now my answer is " What I was doing is saving my life"

Lap band surgery on February 13. A nice way to celebrate Valentines day. Now I have been home for 3 days and doing the liquid diet. Jello, broth etc. Monday is my first post op with Dr. Nusbaum. No pain but I feel a little weak. I am looking forward to protein shakes.
