So I sent my letter....

Sep 01, 2011

I decided to go with my FIFTH surgeon out of University of California-Irvine Medical Center. His name is Brian Smith. Hopefully all goes well. I have my consultation on September 7 and the support group on September 20. After that they said I would be able to have my pre-op possibly on September 21. It all depends on the approval of my social worker through their facility. The funny part is the coordinator thought I was joking about being approved for my surgery until she spoke with my case manager. My case manager and I have become very great friends since this process started.  She knows all of my struggles with this process and she told the lady to spare me because of how much I have been through so they are trying to get me through whatever obstacles I have to get through so I can get through this process. I loved the staff at Marina Del Rey Hospital until I felt like they were giving me the run around.  They have completely wasted my time over these last couple of weeks. And what really irritates me is that when I went in for my first consultation with that office I said I wanted the sleeve or the band.  They knew that at the time they weren't contracted with Blue Shield to do my surgery and then wait this long into the process to tell me that. So I sent in my letter to get my medical records transferred. I decided this process has be going on way to long to give up or to wait for someone else to get it together.

So I want to share with you ten things I'm looking forward to after surgery:

10:I am looking forward to this being the end of the pre-op faze!!!!
9:For people to think I'm on something because I keep dropping weight! (I kind of have a weird sense of humor but whatever! Lol)
8:To find out who will be my true friends and to see which guy from my past will react to me differently(which they will definitely not have a chance, if you can't love me fat you can't love me small but it will at least be funny to watch).
7:To say I am no longer the fat funny chick out the group. I am the sexy funny chick!
6:To look at my feet with no belly in direct view!
5: Get rid of my spanks and long line bra!
4: Go shopping and everything I try on will no longer have and X in front of it.
3: To see my self "skinny" for the first time in my life since 5. And my collar bone would be cool to see.
2: Cross my legs and to have that gap between my legs that skinny people have because their thighs don't touch.
1: Be Happy and Healthy!
