I started my journey at 279 lbs....im currently 212.....13 pounds to 199....Im so excited.  I promise to eat right and exercise.  Thank GOD for my tool!

Im still losing slow, but I know its  my own fault!  What I have learned it that when I go to the gym, I can lose as much as 5 lbs a week, and when I dont, I lose 1 to 2 lbs a week.  Im posting some pics taken 3-1-08.  Im just just over 6 months post op and Im down 64 lbs...I currently weigh 214.  Im not real proud of the results but Im happy with them.  Im going to do much better with what I eat and DEFINITELY MORE EXERCISE!!

Dreaming of "one"derland!!!  Down 4lbs (226)....next month will be much different! Christmas Day is exactly my 18 week post op.

I weighed myself when I woke up this morning...Im 230, down 50 pounds.  Today its 14 weeks since the surgery.  I guess im on schedule??? The pounds are coming off slowly.  I havent been working out like I should....only once last week.  Im going to promise myself to work out more, at least 3 to 4 times a week. 

Here is just an update......Last tuesday I was 11 weeks post op (today Im 12 weeks), I saw Dr. Pleatman.  I have lost a total of 45 lbs, and my BMI is 39....I feel that is great progress.

Tomorrow I will be 3 weeks post op and Im not doing so well.  I have to go back to hospital tomorrow and my surgeon has to do an endoscopy????sp?  ..  I cant keep anything down so he is going to widen the opening to my pouch.  Apparently this is a normal procedure.  I have to be put to sleep again, ugh....  I pray all goes well.

Well Im 4 days post op, and Im feeling pretty good.  I have to force myself to eat because I have no appetite.  I havent started my vitamins yet because I bought pill form and realize that I need chewables.  I have gotten on the scale a few times, (I probably shouldnt do that so soon), but I have lost a few pounds already.  I see Dr. Pleatman for my post op checkup on Monday, I hope he takes this drain tube out ot my stomach. 

Less than 48 hours and Im on my way......Im packed, bought all my vitamins...im ready.  Thanks to all for sharing your journeys...ive learned so much!

Well its exactly seven days til my surgery.....I having some mixed feelings.  Part of me is nervous, and part is excited....I cant wait to get this over with and start losing!!!

I have been viewing this site for weeks, and have learned so much.  My surgery is scheduled for the 21st of August and I can hardly wait.  I have great support from my family and my significant other.
