 i had surgery a little over 2 years ago. i've lost 55lbs, but have been stalled for over a year. while i'm happy that i managed to lose that much weight and keep it off, i've been very stressed and upset about not being able to lose more.  and while i know that i've lost weight and have moved into a size 10/12 - i still feel like i look the same in the mirror. i'm still embarrassed to go outside and run (although i do it regularly). i'm ashamed and embarrassed that i haven't been able to lose more weight. i have 40 more pounds to lose to get to my goal weight and it's feeling hopeless. i'm hoping that re-engaging with this site will help me meet some other people in my situation for support.

i've recently moved to santa monica and have yet to make any friends. :(
