I want a healthy life, I am NO longer going to be a statistic in obesity. A new me is dawning!
I underwent Roux-En-Y Gastric Bypass surgery on July 8th, 2008 and my life has changed drastically! Each day I learn how my new body is teaching me to eat smaller portions and eat only enough to life, instead of the endless cycle I was previously in which was living to eat.
I am 34 years old and a military wife married 10 years. My Husband has been by my side during this whole process, I love him for helping me help myself!
In addition we have four wonderful children who I am proud of and I am excited to teach them proper portions and eating healthy for life so they will not have to through this as I have.
