I have found a surgeon finally that will listen to me, that yes, there was a problem with my first surgery. I lost just over 100 pounds, and then gained 60 back almost overnight. I had still been exercising and eating like I had been tought and could not understand it. Everyone I saw, kept saying it had to be compliance, and that I did something along the way. My new surgeon has found that my stoma is 2x the size that it should be, and that it was a healing error. I have done everystep that I am supposed to, and am now waiting for my surgery date. I need to have it ASAP, because unfortunately, I had to have back surgery for a slipped disc, on Dec15, 2011, and the back surgeon, said we had to find someont to help with the weight, That is when I found Dr. Huse. If I do not loose, I am looking at having a messed up back, that may not be able to be repaired, the next time a disc slips. i will do everything I can to prevent that.I am in the process of feeling a bit excited again, but, since this has to happen, no matter what, I am just praying for it to work right this time, and to see the same results as others I know who have gone through the journey. I would love to have an angel, if they still have those on here. I had stopped coming to this website, because I felt like a failure, Now i feel like I am being reborn again. If anyone has any words of advice, I would love to hear them. I went to my first Support Group, for this Hospital, and just loved it. The people are amazing :) I will try to be better at updating my profile this time :)
