3-12-7 Enough of this BS!

OKay.. I am going to work my arse off to get to 264 by the time I go for my next fill on 4/14.  That gives me one month to lose 8 lbs.  I believe I can do it it.

I am doing the water.. I am doing the smaller portions.. I believe I am getting in all my protein.  I KNOW I am f-ing around with the other stuff.

So starting today.. (even with Auntie Flo in town) I am going to behave and get my arse moving.

If you are wondering, 264 is the magic number to get my BMI under 50.

Scale started to cooperate again.  Down another 1.5 lbs.  Yeah!  Funny thing.. I ate garbage all weekend.  Didn't track anything and didn't try.  I wasn't in a funk or anything.. just wanted to eat something that wasn't chicken. lol

I also had 3 NSV's this weekend

Bought 24W pants that fit  (started at 28-30 in December)
Bought 42D bra that fits.. (started at 44DD in December)
Now my bras have 3 hooks instead of 4!

Life is good..

2-19-07 Third Fill

OKay.. so I have my third fill now.. I have 6.5cc in my VG band.  I do feel different.. but I am also still sore around my port for shoveling tons of snow!
I am on mushies today.. so I will know for sure if I am okay enough to eat and survive. 
I lost 5 lbs according to Dr C from my second fill and my third fill (2 weeks apart)  so I only got a tiny fill.  I have been exercising, so I am sure the majority of the weight loss is from that.


2-15-7 2 Months 40 Pounds Gone!

I woke up this morning with a nice surprise. I lost 2 more pounds.

I am down 40 lbs since 12/1.  I know I put in two months.. BUT surgery was 2 months ago..  So I'll say 2 months.

I hit my secret goal.  Yeah!

2-14-7 Valentine's Day

OMG.. You wouldn't believe the snow.  I had a 3.5 foot snow drift at my side door.  School cancelled, work cancelled. So you know I didnt make it to the gym.  Aunt Flo just left town.  I gain 3 lbs while she is here, and she left.. so I lost the 3 and another half pound.  I think I am still going for a fill on Monday.  I am not sure what Dr. C will say being I have lost atleast 3lbs since I was there a week and a half ago.  I think that it is the exercise that is doing it.  I can still eat alot more than I should be, and I'm not forcing it.  Kinda stuck here.  Don't know if I want to change what I can eat.

Example: Steak Night
PreBand Me:  Cheese Fries Appetizer, 12oz Ribeye, Loaded Baked Potato, Salad w/ Ranch Dressing and a Margarita.. NO PROBLEM.

PostBand Me (Saturday): No appetizer, 6oz Sirloin (which I only at 2.5 oz), Loaded Baked Tato (3 fork full), Salad w/ Ranch. 95% of it.  No Drink.  

Do I really want to ruin it? I like being able to eat whatever I want.. but way less of it.

We'll see what happens Monday.

Oh yeah.. no where near my Valentine's Goal.. but I didn't think I would be.  I am 277 today.. I wanted to be 264. (which was impossible)  Not sad at all.. happy I am still going down.

2-8-7 The pounds are just falling off....

Wow.  Since my fill on Saturday, I have lost 5 lbs.  Here the thing.  I only really count it as 2 though.  I never change my info to go up when I go up.  Once I see the number, I count it.  So today I am at 277.5

But every morning I have gotten on the scale and I am a half pound lighter.  I dont think I am at my sweet spot.. because it doesnt sound like anyone elses sweet spot.  BUT I am happy with where I am anyway.  I am telling myself to stop eating.  I know when I have had enough.  I don't get any of the tight feeling, the soft stop, or the PB or
sliming.  I just stop eating all together.  I am eating more than I should, but I am losing weight.

I know alot has to do with the fact that I am working out and walking alot more now.  I am doing the stairs (only down right now), walking farther from the car, (especially at school, no more parking garage), and going to the gym a minimum of 3 days a week.

Last night we went to the Home and Garden show.  We were walking for 3 hours.  Mind you, not power walking or continuously walking... but I was moving. Tonight I will go to the gym tonight again after work and school.  I only spend about 45 mins there. 20 mins on the tred, 15 mins on the bike, and around 120 crunches.  I haven't gotten to the other machines yet.. but not too worried about that.  

I know I won't hit my Valentine's Goal of 264. (which I knew I was never going to hit).. BUT I am getting closer.  Maybe a St Patty's Day goal?

2-3-7 Second Fill and Visit with the girls!

Well this Saturday I had my second fill.  1.5cc.  So I have a total of 5.5cc in my VG band.  I do feel alittle bit different, but nothing like what I read about on the board.  I lost 2 pounds in the two weeks since my first fill.  I was glad it was that much.. I wasn't sure.. I have been fluxing so much.. and I always weigh 2 lbs more in Cincy!

Lunch without FOOD with the girls.  I met up with McBand (Kristen), SmallerRD (Rhonda), Amanda S, and Pat R was already with me.  OMG we had a great time at the mall.  No shopping or food involved.. but I was laughing so hard I almost wet my pants!   Great time was had.. too bad it was so short!  *(see pic on the left I'm in )*

Next time we will make a weekend of it!

1/23/7 Finally in the 270's

Okay, I finally broke into the 270's this morning.  I have been hovering for a month.  I dont think it is fill related, as I am not eating any differently than before the fill.  Just wanted to post some happy news.
ps.  Cars suck!  More problems, more money!

1-18-2007 First Fill

My appt went great.  I drive 8 hours round trip for a 15minute fill.  But Dr. Curry is worth it.  The fill didn't hurt.  I mean not even alittle.  I was laughing when the fill actually happened.    I was told I was ahead of the game.. so that is good.

I did get some weird information.. not weird because it was wrong.. just weird because it messes up my own personal time table.  lol

Dr C told me that I could hit 168 lbs as a goal.. but it would take 2-2.5 years.  UGH.. I was thinking being around 130 by May 2008.  LOL  I guess I have big dreams.  But to be totally honest, I would be more than happy with a weight that starts with a ONE or a dress size starting with a ONE as well.

I should aim higher than the ONE theory, but not as high (or low) as 130.  I started this journey wearing a 3x-4x or 30W top.  I just bought a size 24W skirt suit (a bit snug) but I could wear it if I had nothing else.  And it has only been one month.

I have alot of work to do.. but I am up to the task!

My next fill is going to be 2/3/7.  I know it is only 2 weeks from now.. BUT I want to lose some more weight before then.  I don't really have any restriction.. but I dont mind.. I am doing it in my head.. like I did the other 33.5 lbs.  I have 25 days to drop 14 lbs (which won't happen) but lets see what I can do!


1/4/7 Countdown to my first fill

I have a VG band.. so I figure my fill will be bigger than what most people post on the board.  Not a high ratio.. just a higher number because it is a bigger band.

My appt is on 1/18 @ 3pm.  I am looking forward to it.  I know it probably won't affect much... but it will be a start in the right direction.
